Merry Christmas from Aerosint
Greetings from the entire Aerosint team.
We just printed this amazing part. It's a multi-metallic heat exchanger designed by our friends at Gen3D.
During EPMA's Additive Manufacturing online Seminar, Dr. Bram Neirinck of Aerosint will make an interesting presentation on "Near Term Industrial Opportunities for Selective Powder Deposition in Laser Powder Bed Fusion".
This week we kicked off a new research project "COVID Style" with our project partner Amnovis. The project is financially supported by Service public de Wallonie and by Agentschap Innoveren & Ondernemen and will run for 24 months.
On this 15th July 2020, we were awarded the first price in the "materials" category of the 3D Pioneers Challenge!
With the onset of multi-material powder bed based additive manufacturing there is nothing that hinders us in imagining a soluble support approach for L-PBF, greatly facilitating parts post-processing.
We today achieved a major technical milestone, we printed our first dual metal parts!
A non-contact powder recoater may avoid common issues in fabrication of small and intricate parts in metal laser powder bed fusion
With selective powder deposition we can use virgin material for every part produced by laser powder bed fusion — and prevent waste
