The breakthrough technology developed by Aerosint to print real 3D architectured and multimaterial structures opens a whole new playground for design and manufacturing of complex components. CRM Group and UCLouvain – Université catholique de Louvain will collaborate to establish a methodology to assess the processability and performance of material combinations through modeling and experiments. This methodology will be used to select and optimize the processing conditions to obtain sound interfaces within the printed multimaterial component to enhance its mechanical and physical performances.

Direct pressure-assisted sintering of complex powder structures

At Aerosint we’ve developed the Selective Powder Deposition (SPD), a technology that allows the user to make 2D patterns with multiple powders in any shape or form they desire. Our goal is to empower you with this technology to make materials and parts like none you’ve seen before. One way to achieve this is via direct pressure assisted sintering on multi-material powder constructs.
